Artist Anna Maria Murphy and friends have been walking in Cornwall, collecting and re-interpreting stories and memories from the people they met along the way

As part of Kneehigh’s Rambles programme, poet Anna Marie Murphy began walking the roads of Cornwall, collecting stories and memories of people she met along the way. She then interpreted the stories to make an entertaining and often moving living landscape rooted in real people and places.

You can hear the stories via the free Walk With Me app – plug in and listen as you enjoy a walk as GPS magic will trigger tales in specific places as you explore, or sit back at home and listen in ‘armchair mode’.

The collection of funny, magical and often moving stories has been voiced by actors and local people.

The project also features a series of short animations, voiced by Dawn French, bringing some of the stories to life.
