idontloveyouanymore is an award-winning artist studio working with light, animation, and digital media to create immersive artworks that explore the human experience.
Their latest project, By The Light of Our Losses, is a hybrid participatory artwork that visualises the collective experience of loss through light. It takes the form of an interactive map containing anonymous submissions of any and all things lost – items, people, hopes, fears and inhibitions. Alongside the digital map, selected losses are turned into an exhibition of lightbulbs, inscribed with the loss and hidden somewhere in the real world, for people to find.

Anyone around the world can submit a loss here. You might choose something you lose everyday, the thing you hope will be in your pocket and then never is. You might answer it with the largest loss you’ve felt in your life, you might answer with a name. There are no wrong answers.
Rather than charting fixed, objective locations, the map traces experiences that often have no clear coordinates such as lost time, lost chances, lost passions, and lost states of consciousness. The artwork acts as an evolving elegy, a memorial to honour personal absences without hierarchy. It asks what it means to record the loss of a notebook alongside the loss of a loved one, placing everyday and profound experiences on equal footing.
Even if you feel you have nothing to share, you can explore the things other people have lost here.
