FAMEHUNGRY is an interactive TikTok Live show investigating the attention economy, the future and the sneaking suspicion that social media is distracting us from the apocalypse. The show asks how social media is changing us, what young people think about the future, and what it feels like to be hungry for fame in the face of a world on fire.
It is an intergenerational conversation and collaboration between one famehungry millennial Performance Artist – Louise Orwin – and one Gen Z famehungry TikTok star – Jax. Louise and Jax are both queer neurodivergent artists who work in different forms: one of them likes to be in front of audiences IRL , and the other likes to be in front of audiences online. Both of them exploit their lives for ‘content.’

Fusing dance, performance art, and TikTok experiences, this show happens both in a theatre as well as on TikTok Live. The show is currently touring, including at the Edinburgh Fringe, and a documentary about the creation of the show will be released later in the year.
