Watch Africa Express as they prepare to perform Terry Riley’s ‘In C’, live at Tate Modern

Marking the fiftieth anniversary of Terry Riley’s pioneering masterpiece ‘In C’, Tate Modern, Africa Express and The Space launched an interactive online film, Tate Modern and Africa Express present In C Mali.

The film follows the musicians brought together by Africa Express and led by classical composer Andre de Ridder as they perform Riley’s legendary minimalist composition live at Tate Modern. Create your own journey through the film by watching the performance, exploring artworks in the Tate, and going on the road with Africa Express to Bamako, Mali.
