Make it or fake it! Artists on AI, creativity and what’s at stake

July 7 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm

Watch the webinar

Are you curious about how artists are really using AI? Are you thinking about what it means for your own practice, your audiences, or the industries you work in?

AI is reshaping what it means to make art. It’s changing how images are produced, how stories are told and how we decide what to trust. For artists working at the intersection of creativity and technology, these aren’t abstract questions, they’re the conditions in which they’re making work right now and navigating the tension between innovation, ethics and limited resources.

We hear from four creatives who are working with and sometimes against AI to make ambitious, boundary pushing work. They’ll share what’s driving their decisions, what they’ve learned, and what they think every creative needs to understand about the world we’re now making in.

Whether you’re an artist, producer, technologist or simply curious about the future of creativity, this webinar offers an opportunity to hear from creatives working at the cutting edge of AI and the arts.

We cover:

  • How AI is changing our relationship with truth, identity and visual culture and what that means for audiences and makers alike.
  • Why media literacy matters more than ever and what role artists can play in shaping it.
  • How AI tools are being used to solve real production challenges, from ambisonic audio to world-building at speed.
  • The tension between creative ambition and limited budgets and how artists navigate it without compromising their vision.
