For this event My Dance DNA sees leading contemporary choreographer, Siobhan Davies, discuss the iconic moments of dance and movement on film that have transfixed and transformed her, as well as the defining pieces in her own back catalogue.

The talk is hosted by a Maria Balshaw, Director of TATE (former Director at the Whitworth and Manchester City Galleries) guest who is familiar with the choreographer’s work. The Desert Island Discs style format includes a 45-minute interview with the choreographer interspersed with archive video footage of iconic dance performances, followed by a 15 minutes audience Q+A including questions via Twitter.
