The Space celebrates prestigious wins at Golden Prague, Prix Italia and San Francisco
Awards highlight growing importance of digital platforms in making the performing arts more accessible to diverse audiences
The Space is thrilled to announce three prestigious award wins for its supported projects, marking a recognition of its work to broaden access to quality digital cultural content.
The Rite of Spring and Peaky Blinders: The Redemption of Thomas Shelby have both earned top honours at recent major international festivals.
Top Prize at Golden Prague for The Rite of Spring
Rite of Spring, Aurora Orchestra’s bold and immersive reimagining of Stravinsky’s classic ballet, won the Grand Prix at the Golden Prague International Television Festival. This top award, considered one of the most prestigious in the world of performing arts television, celebrates the outstanding quality of the production and its successful fusion of live performance and digital artistry.
The project exemplifies The Space’s mission to help the arts sector embrace digital tools to engage wider audiences, capturing the energy of live dance and reimagining it for a digital stage.

Peaky Blinders Wins at Prix Italia and San Francisco Dance Film Festival
Meanwhile, Rambert’s Peaky Blinders: The Redemption of Thomas Shelby, continues its winning streak. The project secured the Prix Italia for TV Performing Arts—an international accolade recognizing excellence in television performance. This dynamic dance theatre production, inspired by the popular Peaky Blinders TV series, has also this week been awarded Best Live Performance Capture at the San Francisco Dance Film Festival.

The Space’s role in enabling success
As the organisation at the forefront of supporting digital transformation in the arts and cultural sector, The Space has played a crucial role in these projects’ successes. Working closely with the creators and production teams, The Space provided essential digital expertise, mentoring, and strategic support to ensure that both Rite of Spring and Peaky Blinders could reach audiences far beyond the physical stage.
Fiona Morris, CEO and Creative Director of The Space said:
” We’re so immensely proud to have supported these projects, helping them achieve their artistic vision, widening access and connecting with global audiences. These wins are a testament to the power of collaboration between artists, organisations and digital innovators and we’re delighted to have produced work that has been recognised internationally. We’re working hard with all our partners to continue supporting the development of digital projects that push the boundaries of traditional performance.”
