elemental

Overdrive Dance Company engages boys, young men, and male-identifying young people in Glasgow with dance and creative movement. They strive to create a safe space for young people to explore their creativity.

 

This short dance film in response to the theme of climate change, looking at catastrophes such as tsunamis and wildfires, and interpreting this as dance for the camera. elemental is choreographed by 17-year-old neurodivergent choreographer Ross Hoey in collaboration with filmmaker Lewis Landini. The film will also be presented to schools and art organisations.
